WHAT WE LOVE...

This beautifully restored 16th-century building has been transformed into an opulent hotel where it feels like you're staying in a luxurious grand country home. Tucked away in Palma's historic La Lonja quarter, once you have entered the gated archway at the entrance you find that it boasts a deliciously secluded, leafy garden with an inviting terrace and pool. The colourful interior design - blending art deco, mid-century and modern with great success - is impeccable throughout, with huge guest rooms full of quirky, characterful features. There's an indulgent spa, a highly rated organic restaurant, and a roof terrace with suitably splendid city views.

Style & Character

This hotel predominantly attracts leisure travellers appreciating good interior design and cuisine over a big choice of facilities. We love how the décor and interior design is consistently wonderful throughout the hotel.

Service & Facilities

Though there aren't a great deal of facilities, those that are present are faultless.

  • Restaurant
  • Adults only

Rooms

Room 12 is the size of a small flat. It has extravagant touches like a big orange sofa and an antique mirror. We love the skilled interior design, like putting sandstone bathroom sinks near a grey marble fireplace. You'd think such disparate looks wouldn't meld successfully, but they do.

Traveler Suite, Junior Suite, Deluxe Suite, Premium Suite, Sky Suite, Grand Suite
Facilities include: ensuite bathroom with complimentary toiletries, pillow menu, TV, free Wi-Fi

Food & Drink

Botanic Restaurant's library, looking out to the lovely terrace, low lit with candles, with old leather-bound books lining one wall, big arched windows, and vintage bird cages hanging from the dark wood ceiling is delightfully characterful. The Indian-style curry with lamb marinated in a zumaq and yoghurt sauce is delicious. Subtle flavours are here in droves, with a delicately spiced and flavoured sauce, tender lamb and crunchy broccoli.

Botanic Restaurant: Varied menu. Health-oriented dishes including tacos with octopus. Open Daily. Mains from €12.
