Calcot & Spa is a dreamy collection of former barns, cottages and a manor house set in rolling, 220-acre grounds. There's a generous sense of space and terrific range of facilities here, from an excellent spa to tennis courts, croquet and cycling. There really is something for everyone, whether romantics, extended families, first-time parents, groups of friends or wedding parties. Room rates are high even for the Cotswolds, but then this is a treat of a hotel, with many repeat guests saving up to return again - and again.

The sweeping views at the back of this Cotswold retreat are a highlight - it's a world unto itself.

The hotel is surrounded by classic Cotswold villages and a short drive from the popular town of Tetbury.
By car: Calcot & Spa is around 2 hours 30 minutes from London, 1 hour 20 minutes from Oxford and 1 hour 40 minutes from Birmingham. There is parking at the hotel.
By train: London Paddington to Kemble takes 1 hour 12 minutes. Kemble station is a 20-minute taxi ride from Calcot & Spa.

Style & Character

This is a rambling place with lots of space and secluded areas - so there's plenty of room for everyone. We love the sunny terraces in summer - and in winter the cosy fireside spaces with relaxingly stylish décor.
