WHAT WE LOVE...

With 11 delightful bedrooms above a long-acclaimed Hove restaurant, it is no surprise that The Ginger Pig is an eternally popular choice for a foodie-focused weekend away. The Edwardian building is situated in a quieter corner of Hove, yet is nonetheless minutes away from the many attractions of lively central Brighton. The spacious guest rooms boast stylish décor, while the smart restaurant offers a buzzing atmosphere as well as innovative Modern European cuisine. The bar is equally impressive.

Style & Character

Those wanting a short break where food is the focus and Brighton's attractions are easily accessed - especially Londoners escaping the smoke - will enjoy it here. There's a sassy contemporary look throughout.

Service & Facilities

We loved sampling the excellent dishes at the restaurant.

  • Restaurant
  • Bar
  • Pet-friendly
  • Free Wi-Fi

There are a couple of pet-friendly rooms, with a charge of £35 extra per night, which includes a bowl and bed. Dogs are permitted in the bar but not the restaurant.

Rooms

The largest room has a bathroom with a freestanding bath, a large shower and double basins. Rooms look stylish, with excellent décor colour choices.

Small double, Large double, Luxury double
Facilities include: ensuite bathroom with Cowshed bathroom products, coffee machine, premixed 'Ginger' cocktails, radio, TV, free Wi-Fi

Food & Drink

Breakfast is served until a leisurely 11.30am, although sadly isn't included in the room rates. The tasty pork chop with rosti potato and black pudding intriguingly combines examples from different international cuisines.

Restaurant & Bar: locally sourced produce, seasonal menus. Dishes include lamb pie, Sussex plaice and Himalayan salt-aged sirloin steak. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner
