WHAT WE LOVE...

This smart four-star hotel has grown up around a traditional granite farmhouse close to the cliffs of the south coast in the parish of St Martin. At the front of the property, window boxes filled with petunias decorate the traditional sash windows, while at the back there is a sheltered swimming pool and terrace tables and chairs spilling out from the popular restaurant. Inside, the interiors are crisp and contemporary, including photo-real wallpaper of Italianate gardens in the restaurant and of a local seascape in reception. Rooms are all a little different in style and design with superior doubles occupying a separate block overlooking the pool and each having a terrace or balcony to soak up the Channel Island sun.
