WHAT WE LOVE...
One of the smartest places to stay in Florence, the Four Seasons is set in a Renaissance palazzo in 11 acres of grounds and spills over into a separate building that was once a convent. Situated on the outskirts of the old city, about a 15-minute walk from both the Duomo and the train station, it is a welcome retreat from the tourist hordes in summer. Join the glamourous crowd that gather in the Atrium bar for pre-dinner drinks and then head to Michelin-starred Il Palagio restaurant for an exceptional menu of creative variations on Italian classics. Service is super attentive and the concierge will help you to secure the best tables in the city, private shopping trips and boat rides down the Arno.
