WHAT WE LOVE...

If you like to get away from it all, Costa Calero doesn't disappoint. 340 rooms and common areas are spread across a generous 27,500 square metres of space, making this four-star hotel feel emptier than it actually is - even when at full occupancy. There's a free shuttle bus if you want to experience the livelier Puerto del Carmen, just 3km away. For a totally different experience, the Martian landscape of Timanfaya National Park is another 2km away. A self-contained resort inside the refined Puerto Calero resort, Costa Calero offers the chance to chill at the hotel or try something more adventurous nearby, making it the ideal base for both active and more relaxed holidays.

Style & Character

In the summer, the hotel is popular with British families, while older northern European couples tend to stay in the winter. Costa Calero is not trying to win any awards with its architecture, but the flashes of innovation do catch you out.
