WHAT WE LOVE...
A five-star hotel with style and pizzazz in the heart of central London with Covent Garden to one side and the River Thames to the other. Be wowed by the giant central marble atrium that rises up the 10 floors of the hotel in a pyramid shape, and enjoy the low-key sophistication of black marble-clad corridors. You'll get a glass of fizz at check-in to get you into the party mood and the vibe continues with the DJ-spun tunes in steakhouse STK on the ground floor and the atmospheric plant-lined Radio Rooftop bar. Rooms are white and minimal in design, but maximal when it comes to tech, with surround-sound speakers, PlayStations and mood lighting. Suites have panoramic views of the Strand.

Location
We like that the hotel has thick windows, so you don't notice any noise from the traffic that constantly passes outside.
The hotel is on The Strand, opposite Somerset House and a short walk from Covent Garden.
By car: around 2 hours from Brighton, 2 hours 30 mins from Bristol and 4 hours from Manchester. On-site parking costs £49 per day.
By train: there are direct trains to London Waterloo from Salisbury (1 hour 30 mins), Portsmouth (1 hour 30 mins) and Exeter (3 hours 15 mins). The hotel is a five-minute taxi ride from the station. thetrainline.com
Style & Character
Perfect for party-loving city breakers who will enjoy the rooftop bar with its retractable roof. We love the way the black furniture is softened by plenty of green plants.
Service & Facilities
Hotel guests get priority seating at STK restaurant and Radio Rooftop, and don't need to book. The 24-hour valet parking is very useful if you are driving to the hotel.

The duplex Suite Me has a panoramic glass-walled living room at the top of the building, with access to Radio Rooftop Bar. We love the floor-to-ceiling windows, which frame the comings and goings on the Strand below.
