WHAT WE LOVE...

A luxury boutique hotel set in a Georgian Grade I-listed building, No.15 is a treat. Located on Bath's neoclassical gem, Great Pulteney Street, the hotel reveals a flair for imagination right from the off and manages the trick of combining character with modernity. The blend of the original fittings and features with quirky and creative touches works well. It has a grown-up, fun atmosphere with a cool spa, a cocktail bar with wittily conceived drinks and a very good restaurant in The Dispensary, which offers a contemporary take on classic British dishes. In a nutshell, the perfect retreat for a breeze through Bath.

Style & Character

Great for anyone with a taste for the quirky. It's a lovely romantic bolthole. The mismatched collection of objects and curiosities, such as the kaleidoscopes, musical instruments and old medicine bottles are a highlight.

Service & Facilities

We love the inventiveness of the mixologist in Bar 15, who is always ready with a novel suggestion of what to try. Well-behaved dogs are welcome (for a £20 charge) in the sitting rooms and Bar 15 and some of the bedrooms.

We love the design twists in the restaurant, such as the antique chemists' cabinets and dispensing jars. The Wiltshire venison with fermented beetroot and local mushrooms is recommended.
