WHAT WE LOVE...

Step into a quiet oasis at this timber-framed Tudor gem, set in three acres of beautiful gardens with box hedges and ornamental urns. Leaded windows, decorative fireplaces and beamed ceilings are a nod to its 16th-century origins; bold, contemporary furnishings, innovative brasserie dining and modern artworks are bang on trend. Moat Mews rooms come with pond views, a couple with wonderful over-water balconies. You won't need to set a morning alarm either - resident quacking ducks will do the job for you. Attractive gardens overlooking the moat and pretty duck pond provide the perfect backdrop for afternoon tea with scones hot from the oven. Croquet on the lawn is a wonderful fit for this classic Elizabethan Manor House.
