WHAT WE LOVE...

Palace by name, Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora is palatial by nature. There's a suitably grand entrance. If walking into hotels is supposed to take your breath away, there's an oxygen heist going on at this five-star hotel. The resort is vast and you're never short of things to see and do with a fantastic entertainment programme. Situated in the sunnier south of Tenerife, it's still set apart from other hotels. That's thanks to an Alcalá address rather than a Costa Adeje one. Rooted in the local neighbourhood, the promenade was actually constructed by Melía for the enjoyment of all. Proud but not loud, big but not brash, Palacio de Isora is all these things and more/less.

Style & Character

There's fun to be had for all the family here. When we visit, the Atlas Room is transformed into a cinema. We love the Red Level lobby too, which doubles as a modern art gallery and entering feels like walking into a coffee table book.
