WHAT WE LOVE...

If you're wanting a supremely comfortable, spacious beach hotel with plenty of facilities, this hotel located on the artificially made Palm Jumeirah island will serve you well. However, bear in mind that it is isolated from Dubai's main sights (although its quiet location may be very appealing). It's luxurious, service is exemplary and cuisine standards are very high (including a restaurant for Michelin-starred chef Heinz Beck), but its international-style decor won't to be all tastes. There are great views of the famous Dubai skyline, which can be enjoyed from the large pools and private white sand beach. It has loads of facilities too, from the helipad to the high-end spa, and fitness centre.
