WHAT WE LOVE...
Once a tea salon and hat factory, this swish urban boutique hotel housed in the old Colony Arcade Building dating from 1912 in the Garment District in Midtown Manhattan rocks a vintage, modern and industrial-chic look throughout. It's near numerous sights and attractions such as the Empire State Building, Macy's, the theatre district, Herald Square, Grand Central Station and Bryant Park, as well as 15 subway lines. Its stylish restaurant, chilled jazz bar and fab rooftop lounge offer a diverse range of cool places to socialise, while the comfortable guest rooms have a sleek, minimalist look and modern comforts. There are reminders of the hotel's past, such as milliners' tools on display, and the traditional architecture is spiced up with colourful contemporary art.

We loved being within walking distance of no fewer than 15 subway lines.
In Midtown Manhattan, it's a short walk to Times Square, the Rockefeller Centre and Central Park.
