WHAT WE LOVE...

This traditional inn sits at the heart of the 19,000-acre Ramsbury Estate, owned by Swedish H&M magnate Stefan Persson. The estate's farms, brewery, gin distillery and oil press supply The Bell's restaurant, bar and café, meaning food miles are kept to a minimum and the produce is as fresh as it gets. There are tastefully-decorated ensuite rooms equipped with everything you could need. The village of Ramsbury is blessed with good looks and a rich history. It's in an enviable position on the banks of the River Kennet and its streets are lined with pretty cottages. The bustling, attractive town of Marlborough is around six miles away, while the nearby Marlborough Downs and Savernake Forest offer superb walks.
