Enjoy a tour of Naples and explore its rich artistic legacy in the company of art historian Andrew Graham-Dixon

From ancient sculptures rescued from the ruins of Pompei, to world-renowned museum collections, the art scene in Naples is a must-see for any culture lover. On this five-day tour you'll discover the must-see museums and fascinating galleries that make Naples one of Italy's most important cities for art.

This exclusive tour in the company of art historian Andrew Graham-Dixon will allow you to discover the triumph of the Baroque and witness artistic highlights from ancient Pompeiian frescoes to 18th century marble masterpieces.

One of the most famous of Naples' former residents is Caravaggio, who arrived in Naples in 1606. Here he found a city that was changing rapidly. In the 17th century, its population grew more than three-fold, its economy thrived and Naples attracted artists, architects, writers and philosophers who were the driving force of the Baroque.

You'll be joined by Andrew on two days, as he gives exclusive talks and visits museums with you, including the Museo di Capodimonte, a stunning museum set within a grand 18th century palazzo. Here you'll get to see works by Caravaggio, Raphael, Botticelli and El Greco, and many Titian masterpieces.

You'll be staying at the 4-star NH Napoli Panorama hotel located in the historic centre of the city. The hotel is the perfect base for discovering Naples' historic centre, important buildings, and of course, its lovely local restaurants serving delicious Neopolitan cuisine.
