Start your Christmas celebrations in Bath with an expert wine or gin tasting workshop with Susy Atkins
Christmas is an especially magical time in Bath, when the city's honey-stone streets come alive with twinkling lights, and the tantalising festive aromas of mulled wine, spices and roasting almonds waft through the winter air. This year, you can take advantage of a special offer on a night at the Country Living Lansdown Grove Hotel, set in a magnificent Grade II-listed building, which is one of the oldest in Bath, combined with a wine (November 27th) or gin-tasting (November 28th) experience in partnership with specialists Great Western Wines.
Stepping inside the hotel, you'll enter elegantly decorated rooms, with high ceilings and carefully preserved original features. As well as spending a night in one of the stylish bedrooms, you'll take part in either a wine (November 27th) or gin tasting (November 28th) led by Sunday Telegraph critic and award-winning writer Susy Atkins, and choose from an evening menu of seasonal dishes in the hotel restaurant, inspired by artisan producers featured in Country Living.
