Our day trip to Kent from London evokes the Golden Age of Travel. You'll board the British Pullman at London Victoria, checking in at the plush ticket office and waiting at the private platform, before smartly dressed stewards show you to your seat, set around tables of two, three or four. Each carriage has a name, a fascinating history, and a distinct style and personality. Perhaps you'll board Audrey (that once carried Queen Elizabeth II) or Pheonix (the favourite carriage of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother), or maybe Cygnus, a carriage recently reimagined by American filmmaker Wes Anderson and opulently furnished in fine fabrics.

This farm to plate adventure is inspired by Kent's finest quality produce from tasty asparagus, cherries and apples to Romney Marsh lamb and Whitstable oysters. The Chef has handpicked each supplier, farmer and artisan producer for their passion and devotion to quality.
Savour the last hour of your round trip back to London, sipping on tea and coffee served alongside petit fours as you gaze outside at the beautiful scenery.

The route takes you via Canterbury to Dover, where you alight briefly onto the platform for some lively entertainment and tempting local refreshments. Back on board, the train begins its return journey via Folkestone and Paddock Wood. Coffee is served before you arrive back at London Victoria.
