This Christmas, give someone special the perfect gift with a luxury day trip or short stay break - BOOK HERE>

Tuck into a three-course brunch on your way to tour Blenheim Palace before enjoying a three-course dinner on your return trip

Home to the Dukes of Marlborough since the early 18th century and the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, Blenheim Palace sits resplendently in acres of Capability Brown-landscaped parkland in charming Oxfordshire.

Join us on this very special day trip on board the British Pullman, a Belmond train, to visit the monumental baroque country house, with a guided visit and free time to explore its elegant grounds.

Your journey will start at London Victoria Station, where you'll be welcomed aboard the British Pullman and take your seat in your lovingly restored carriage. Take time to admire the exquisite décor and craftsmanship, with authentic vintage details.

Once you've taken your seat in a plush armchair at a table set with fine linen, a sparkling Bellini and a delicious brunch will be served as you begin your journey out into the leafy Oxfordshire countryside.

On arrival at Oxford Parkway Station, you'll be met by your expert guides who'll escort you on a private coach to Blenheim Palace. Marvel at the stately home's incredible history, lavish interiors, imposing Great Hall, ornate State Rooms, Churchill Exhibition, Marlborough Maze and formal Italian gardens.

After your visit, you'll be escorted back to the station, where you'll begin your equally luxurious home trip on the British Pullman. Settle back into your plush seat, Glass of champagne in hand, and enjoy a three-course seasonal menu accompanied with the sommelier's handpicked wines, as the train makes its way back to London.

Accommodation

British Pullman, A Belmond Train

5
Blenheim Palace, United Kingdom

There is no finer way to travel than on the luxurious Belmond train.

Honouring George Mortimer Pullman, the father of luxury trains, the splendidly refurbished British Pullman epitomises a glamorous era of travel. Each carriage is individually named and has a fascinating story. Some were favoured by the British Royal Family, and two were part of Winston Churchill's funeral train. Others, like Audrey and Vera, survived bomb damage during air raids over London's Victoria Station in 1940. Today, the opulent carriages are set out in tables, ready to welcome guests as they dine on their journeys through the British countryside.
