Enjoy a musical performance of White Christmas, before visiting Chatsworth House, with its beautifully decorated rooms for the festive season

Get into the Christmas spirit early with this magical four-day break, taking in some of Derbyshire's best-loved sights.

First, you'll visit Nottingham, home to legendary heroic outlaw Robin Hood. From Old Market Square, the city's compact centre grants you access to the shopping streets, with free time to explore as you wish.

In the afternoon, you'll be treated to a very special performance of White Christmas. This production of Irving Berlin's classic musical will provide the perfect warm-up to the festive season and the all-singing, all-dancing cast will of course, perform that timeless classic, White Christmas.

The stunning landscapes of the Peak District will then engulf you, as you spend the morning in the market town of Bakewell. Famous for its pudding (not to be confused with the tart), you'll once again have free time to explore the town at leisure. Lose yourself amongst the meandering streets, walk along the banks of the river Wye, or marvel at the architecture in this picture-perfect town.

From Bakewell, you'll visit Chatsworth House - with its wonderful festive displays. Visit the gardens, grounds and of course, the house. Chatsworth House has been passed through 16 generations, and is set within 105 acres of private gardens, as well as over 1,800 acres of parkland. Each year, the house is transformed with memorable Christmas displays and you'll be feeling suitably festive after your visit.

Your base for the trip will be the four-star Breadsall Priory Marriott Hotel & Country Club. Bordering the Peak District National Park, expect natural beauty. Enjoy the hotel's facilities, including a restaurant, pool and spa.
