Visit some of The Cotswold’s prettiest gardens and stately homes and explore the Cotswolds Farm Park with owner Adam

Famed for their rolling hills, honey-coloured stone buildings and country pubs, The Cotswolds are the epitome of rural British beauty.

You'll get to fully explore the delights of The Cotswolds on this busy five-day tour. Enjoy visits to some of the Cotswolds' finest gardens, including Batsford Arboretum, Sezincote House, and Painswick Rococo Garden.

The highlight of your tour will be a visit to the Cotswolds Farm Park, where Adam Henson will answer questions about his conservation work and sustainable farming over a light lunch. You'll then take a tour to see some of the farm's rare breeds like Gloucestershire Old Spot Pigs, Suffolk Punch Horses and Highland cattle.

Throughout the trip, you'll be based at the four-star Leonardo Hotel Cheltenham, where you'll enjoy breakfast each morning and dine in the restaurant each evening.

Another visit to look forward to is to the intriguing Chedworth Roman Villa. Rediscovered during the Victorian era, this was one of the grandest Roman villas in Britain and the ruins provide a unique insight into Roman life.

On your final day, you'll visit the fabulous Sudeley Castle and Gardens, where you'll take a walking tour of the castle exterior and explore the exquisitely decorated castle rooms with their fascinating artefacts dating back to Roman times.

Your trip ends in classic Cotswolds style with a traditional afternoon tea in Broadway, one of the Cotswolds' prettiest villages. It's the perfect chance to say farewell to your fellow travellers and reflect on the adventures of a memorable few days.

This afternoon you'll travel to Batsford Arboretum, home to an astonishing collection of over 2,850 specimens including around 1,300 trees, shrubs, and bamboos. Among them are collections of Japanese flowering cherries, acers, bamboos and magnolias as well as a collection of endangered Chilean Conifers.

After exploring Cheltenham, you'll travel to the Cotswold Farm Park where you'll be met by Adam Henson, one of the UK's most well-known farmers.

Using a 1748 painting by Thomas Robins as a reference, the garden is being fully restored to its eighteenth-century glory, with rococo buildings, woodland walks and well-planned vistas.

In the afternoon, you'll visit Chedworth Roman Villa, one of the grandest villas to be found in Britain. Chedworth provides a unique insight into what life was like during the Roman period and is home to a small collection of finds and artefacts from the villa itself. There is also a conversation room which provides access to the vast mosaic floors, hypocaust systems and bathhouse rooms.

From here, you'll head to Broadway, one of the most picturesque villages in The Cotswolds, for some free time to explore before a farewell Afternoon Tea marks the end of a memorable few days.
