Stay in a luxurious four-star hotel in Marrakech and enjoy tours of the Saadian Tombs, Jardin Majorelle, and Essaouira

Immerse yourself in the truly captivating city of Marrakech, with its intriguing markets, eye-catching minarets, and superb architecture, and experience the natural wonders of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains, the city's dramatic backdrop.

On this six-day adventure specially designed for solo travellers, you'll see some of the city's most incredible sights and explore the wider region with the company of an expert tour manager.

Discover the intricate Saadian Tombs, built as the final resting place for the descendants of the prophet Mohammed, Bahia palace, with its lush courtyards, marble columns and stunning mosaic work, Yves Saint Laurent's famously beautiful Jardin Majorelle, the circus-like atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fna Square, and of course the bustling souks, the lifeblood of the city for hundreds of years.

Another highlight will be a visit to nearby Essaouira, a 15th-century coastal town and one of North Africa's most attractive ports which has been used as a location for several blockbuster films, incuding Orson Welles' Othello and Ridley Scott's Kingdom of Heaven.

Rounding off your trip is a journey into Marrakech's iconic backdrop, the soaring, snow-capped peaks of the Atlas Mountains. You'll take a drive into the foothills with the countryside evolving from saffron-coloured fields to wooded slopes, slashed by dramatic gorges.

Throughout your stay, you'll be based at the superior four-star Hotel Opera Plaza, centrally located opposite the train station and the Royal Theatre. Decorated in an ornate Arab-Moorish style, the hotel has three excellent restaurants, a gym, a spa, and an outdoor swimming pool shaded by olive trees.
