Relax on white-sand beaches and snorkel with tropical fish on this cruise from Singapore to Bali on Golden Horizon

Tradewind's Golden Horizon is the World's largest square-rigged sailing vessel. Powered by the prevailing winds for at least 70 per cent of the year she has sustainability at her heart as well as the outstanding food, cabins and service levels expected of a five-star luxury cruise.

Starting our journey in Singapore - a vast, modern metropolis with distinct neighbourhoods and some spectacular gardens - we'll first sail to North Belitung in Indonesia. This island has some of the prettiest beaches in the archipelago, with white sands and curious granite boulders sticking up out the ground. Enjoy a day relaxing on the sand or grab yourself a snorkel to swim among the rocks and tropical fish.

Our next stop is the Karimunjawa Islands, an archipelago of 27 isles surrounded by coral reefs. More snorkelling is almost obligatory here as the waters are so calm and clear and the reefs utterly spellbinding, and a boardwalk leading through mangrove swamps is a fascinating habitat for kingfishers and wading birds.

Lovina Beach on the island of Bali is our next port of call and it's here you can really get your beach game going. It's a low-key resort with few attractions beyond its dolphin monument and beautiful stretch of sand. Alternatively, head out to one of the nearby fishing villages, such as Anturan, to see traditional boats being prepared for the night fishing run, or head inland to seek out Bali's dreamy landscape of rice terraces, lakes and temples.

Our voyage finishes in Benoa, in the south of Bali, where you might travel on to Lombok or other idyllic islands.

Your home throughout will be the luxurious Golden Horizon, a near replica of a 1913-built ocean-faring ship, which combines the charm and romance of a classical vessel, with the food and service you expect of a modern ship.
