Discover the Austrian capital before an evening of enchanting music as the Waltz King takes to the stage in Vienna's Stadthalle

Vienna is one of Europe's most alluring capital cities. This was once the capital of the Habsburg dynasty, where aristocrats would delight in classical music and dance in dazzling concert halls and palace Ballrooms.

This musical-themed short break in Vienna will show you the best of this beautiful city. The highlight will be an unforgettable evening of magical musical entertainment as André Rieu and his orchestra, choir and soloists take to the stage in Vienna's famous Stadthalle.

The evening promises to be filled with their trademark waltzes as well as melodies from opera, musicals, film and classical music, as The Waltz King recreates the magical atmosphere of Vienna's 19th-century Dance Halls.

Before your evening of music, you'll get the chance to explore Vienna on a guided tour. Rich in culture and gastronomy, Vienna boasts baroque palaces, beautifully-tended gardens and grand coffee houses where you'll feel as if you've stepped back in time.

On your second full day in the city, you'll get the chance to join an optional excursion to the opulent Schonbrunn Palace. Once the summer residence of the Habsburg rulers, today, you can wander through the ornately decorated rooms, getting a glimpse of what life was like in Imperial Vienna and step into the Palace Orangery where Mozart once performed.

You'll have a choice of hotels for your Vienna trip, with breakfast included each day, either at the trendy MOOONS Hotel, just minutes from Vienna Central train station, or Motel One Wien Prater in the canalside Leopoldstadt district.
